A shade loving plant that can tolerate very difficult conditions and still thrive ... Will make a dense green carpet up to but rarely more than 1 metre tall in semi or deep shade needs little care once initially started .... Unusual leaf based small flowers..... Leaves conspicuously blotched with white. Pretty when in young leaf but has a rather weak constitution.

Gold & Green Variegated Elderberry. Deciduous shrub that will reach 2-3 metres.  Elderberrys grow in sun or part shade and like deep watering and some afternoon protection from extreme hot & dry winds.
