quercus robur concordiaTerrific coloured foliage of golden yellow which contrasts very effectively against a dark background. Quite unusual and suited to medium sized gardens. Will grown up to 8m in height. Very slow growing.

Origin: Europe

Quercus robur AtropurpureaDeciduous tree. Compact Rounded Tree. The leaves are a velvety burgundy-purple, and the new growth sometimes a brighter shade of red.

Quercus robur Pectinata (Cutleaf English Oak) Finely dissected foliage form that will become a large deciduous tree with time, seems slower to start than it's iconic parent.

quercus rubra red oak ©Also called the Northern Red Oak. An attractive large tree for large gardens, parks or streetscapes. Lustrous green leaves which turn red to golden brown during autumn. Produces 2.5cm acorns. Prefers a full sun position.

Quercus rubra AureaA small to medium sized deciduous tree. Leaves bright yellow in spring later yellow green then green and then turn red in fall.

Quercus rugosaThe Netleaf oak is a native Evergreen Oak of southern North America; widespread in Mexico ( particularly in highlands ) , Guatemala and the southwestern United States. A hardy evergreen round crowned medium sized tree. Leaves are distinct dark green above and thick and leathery, with reddish-brown hairs underneath. Young foliage is very hairy and predominantly red or yellow.

quercus robur cork oak ©A medium-sized evergreen tree named for its thick corky bark. This develops over time and after 10-12 years cork can be harvested. The harvesting does not harm the tree and a new layer will grow. A long-lived tree – up to 150 years.

Quercus variabilisA large, elegant tree that develops an attractive, corky bark. Leaves chestnut-like, narrow, oval or oblong, margined with small, bristle-tipped teeth, green above, densley greyish or yellowish white-pubescent beneath and persisting late into autumn.
