arbutus canariensisA striking tree displaying bold foliage to 15cm in length and white flowers for a large part of the year. The bark is very showy being dark orange in most seasons but with extreme heat and sun it can become mid purple. Bark is shed annually.It can grow in semi-shade (light woodland) or no shade. It prefers moist soil.

Arbutus glandulosaAmongst the most ornamental of small trees. From Mexico, this variety is famed for its beautiful bark with cinnamon-red tones. The tree also produces white bell-shaped flowers with a pink blush, followed by fruit. The glossy dark green leaves have a serrated edge.

Arbutus unedo Pink PearlsThe Pink Flowering Irish Strawberry Tree’ is a small tree with pink-red flowers and bright orange fruits throughout the summer period. The cinnamon coloured trunk and dark green leaves complete the package.Full Sun, Partial Shade.

Arbutus unedoThis bushy evergreen tree is referred to as the Irish Strawberry Tree. The name reflects the characteristics of the orange strawberry-like fruits. The word ‘unedo’ means ‘I eat one’. This doesn’t refer to the fact they are poisonous, simply that they are so bland you would only want to try one! A natural distribution across southern Spain and Portugal.

Asimina triloba Pennsylvania GoldAsimina 'Pennsylvania Gold' (Paw Paw) loves full - Sun and has large fruit, that are very sweet, Asimina (Paw Paw) does require two varieties of PawPaws to fruit. its a good plant in the cooler regions of australia.
