Abeliophyllum distichum

White forsythia, shrub 90cm-1.5m height and spread.

Flowers between March and  April with white fragrant flowers, sometimes with a pink tinge, likes full sun to part shade, and suggest uses are hedge.

Abutilon Vic LadyAbutilon, (Flowering Maple) Tree grows between 90cm-2.5m has double pink carnation like flowers, flowers between summer to autumn. Can be grown inside or outside and in part shade or Full Sun.

Fast-growing upright shrub, tree like. Up to 4m height, with a spread of 3m. Saucer shaped white flowers, Flowers between April to July. It can withstand -10oC, Full Sun.

A large shrub or small growing tree with grey bark. The white to pale pink flowers are sweetly scented. Be mindful of the fig-shaped fruit capsules which contains poisonous seeds. Commonly known as California Buckeye or California horse-chestnut. Full sun to part shade.

Aesculus hippocastanum BaumanniiMany consider this to be ‘the’ horse chestnut to plant. With prominent double white flowers and dark bark it is a superb specimen. The large brown nuts characteristic of the species are missing from this fruitless cultivar which make is a better choice for many landscapes. Full sun to part shade.
