Formerly called Sinocalycanthus sinensis. The Chinese cousin to Carolina Sweetshrub. this deciduous species shrub is without fragrance but more than makes up for it with its beautiful pink tinged white camellia like flowers in November, Grows to 3-4 Mt tall and as wide.

an excellent perennial addition to the garden native to the Canary Islands and surprisingly uncommon here. The masses of yellow flowers, as well as for the attractive foliage make this Giant Dandelion ( Sunflower family ) a great feature. Bee and Butterfly attracting in the garden and are easy too grow. They flower well in shade and have low water requirement.

Exclusively imported by Pete Teese from China. A Chinese small deciduous tree , with bright yellow foliage. In autumn the tree goes a bright gold , followed by gold bare winter twigs when dormant. A spectacular all year treat.

A zig zag branched “Kowhai”, evergreen shrub of 3-4 Metres.  Masses of bright gold flowers in spring sit amongst the sweet tiny leaves. A bird attracting shrub that is quite hardy. Native of New Zealand.
