A dense and rounded medium-sized shrub. Dark green leaves with yellow ‘gilt’ margins. The small silvery flowers have a nice fragrance and are followed by orange berries.
Origin: Japan
Hardy shrub with silvery young growth, which matures green with yellow and pale green in the centers. Makes the ultimate hardy showy hedge. The small autumn flowers are scented and are followed by small edible fruits that are less astringent if picked when ripe & stored. Available in non Variegated form elaeagnus x ebbingei.
