Newman and Son,South Australia in 1959,and propagated in 1962.

Low wide spreading, blue mushroom shape. Some grafted as standards. Vigorous.

Syn.of 'Coneybearii Aurea',unfortunately in common use.

One of the best tree-sized, golden conifers for small gardens.A compact,very narrow,pillar-shaped small tree with dense,fine golden yellow foliage.In ten years 3x0.3m.A seedling from 'Stricta' in Swane Bros.Nursery,Australia in 1944 and distributed in 1956.

Very narrow pencil pine. Keeps shape well due to no cones being produced which usually causes branches to fall out.A tall,compact,dark green column.In ten years 5x0.5m.Listed by Monrovia Nursery Co.USA in 1989 and Conifer Gardens Nursery,Australia in 2009.This cultivar name in Latin form is unacceptable because the cultivar was produced and named after 1958.

Blue,green foliage, evergreen tree.Sun.Needs average, well drained soil.30-45 feet tall in its native habitat in the limestone mountains of Ha Giang Province in northern Vietnam.

Dacrydium Cupressinum RimuTree with long prickly branches cord-like weeping branches. Elegant tree growing well in shade but not liking drought.A tall tree to 50m tall, found in all parts of New Zealand except the interior of South Island.The crown is conical,becoming broader,with many hanging branchlets covered in foliage.The juvenile leaves are needles 4-6mm long,gradually changing to 2.5-3mm-long scale-like mature leaves.The seeds are deep blue to black,5-6mm long; aril red,either fleshy or dry.Grows successfully in temperate oceanic northern hemisphere situations.Hardiness zone 9.
