Cedrus atlantica AureaStately pyramidal tree of golden ( with blue-green hues ) needled foliage ... Often used for bonsai or pot specimen if leader removed for keeping restrained. An excellent specimen tree , with stiff horizontal side branching and a dominant upright leader. Makes a relatively narrow specimen compared to Cedrus deodara ( Himalayan Cedar ) for the larger garden although takes time to become large.
Grows to 3m high x 1.5m wide in the first 10 years.

Cedrus atlantica GlaucaBlue Atlas Cedars have wonderful silver blue needles and make handsome Evergreen trees of 15-20 metres in time. Pyramidal growth and rich foliage cover , with many sharply pointing branches make this a unique large garden feature.

This is the smallest leafed Cedrus and comes from Cyprus. This form has horizontal branches and very small needles. A gem for bonsai.A dwarf,upright,miniature tree-like plant with an open structure and tiny dark green needles near the ends of the twigs.Annual growth 2-3cm.

The Deodar cedar is a lofty tree reaching 50m tall in the wild.It occurs in E Afghnistan:Hindu Kush;NW Pakistan:Karakoram range;N India:Kashmir;W Nepal;W China:southwest xizang(Tibet),at an altitude of 1,300-3,300m.It has horizontally spreading branches,slightly pendulous branch-tips and trunk diameter up to 3m.The long blue-green needles,grouped 20-30 together in false whorls,are 3-5cm long and 1-1.5mm wide.The pollen-cones are glaucous blue when ripening,later turning reddish brown,ovoid or barrel-shaped,1 or 2 together,7-13x5-9cm.

cedrus deodara 'feeling blue' © 2013 A unique dwarf spreading evergreen with bluish-green needles. The lowest of the dwarf Cedars, this selection rarely develops a leader. Bluish-green foliage.1 to 3 feet tall,6 to 10 feet wide.

 A dwarf or slow growing dense weeper with lime green foliage. A locally found "Witches Broom".Slow-growing,broad pyramid that becomes more errect with age.Foliage lime-yellow.In ten years 2.5x1.2m.Found in 1970 A.J.Teese in a garden at sassafras,Victoria Australia.

cedrus deodara mountain beauty A dwarf spreading form of greyish colour.A cultivar with irregular shape with compact glaucous needles.In ten years 1x1m.Found by Gordon Milton as a witches'broom in the Blue Mountains,west of sydney,Australia,and introduced in 1985.

More vigorous than lime glow.A dwarf cultivar with a graceful,prostrate,habit and with lime-green foliage frosted with yellow.In ten years 10x30cm.Found in 1977 as a witches'broom by Peter Taverna Australia.(W,I,S,HU).

More compact golden form then C.d.Aurea.A slow growing,conicalbright golden plant with somewhat pendulous branches.The golden colour has blue-green undertones.In ten years 3x1.5m.Raised from a witches'broom by Ron Radford,Cedar Lodge Nursery,Tasmania.(W,S,HU).
