An unusually tall member of the daisy family, growing up to 4.5m in height. A shrub which produces displays of large white daisies in autumn. Best in a position that is sheltered from the wind. Cut back hard after flowering finishes to prevent the plant becoming too straggly.
Origin: Central America
Also called the true myrtle, and is widespread in the Mediterranean region. Grows to a small tree with aromatic leathery leaves. The white flowers are followed by fleshy purple-black berries. Plant in full sun for best results.is used in the islands of Sardinia and Corsica for an aromatic liqueur called “Mirto”, ( made by macerating its Berries in alcohol ) ... An evergreen, dense bushy shrub , with glossy dark green leaves aromatic when crushed.Fluffy cream flowers in spring.Blue/black berries follow the flowers and are edible.Makes a great formal hedge, screen or ornamental shrub. Bright fresh green ,veined foliage on arching canes. This great deciduous shrub grows to about 1.5-2 metres tall. In winter the canes go a coppery color. The Arching spikes of Pink flowers flush in early summer. Up to 60 blooms per raceme making an abundant showy and classy shrub ,for part sun to woodland shade position. Native to western China and Tibet.
A medium-sized to large , densely leafy, evergreen tree,of columnar habit at least when young. Leaves ovate or roundish, usually less then 2.5cm long, dark shining green and toothed, closely arranged on the branchlets.
