Atherosperma moschatum SassafrasAtherosperma, commonly known as the blackheart sassafras, is evergreen tree, that grows around 8meters. This tree has the protential to grow to 25meters. Flowering in the winter (June to August), the flowers are a white petall with a yellow insert. This tree makes a great hedge or feature tree in ones garden. It can grow in semi-shade (light woodland) or no shade. It prefers moist soil. Origin: Tasmania, Victoria, and NSW of Australia.

Aucuba chinensisA shrub or small tree with thick, dark green leaves with a lighter underside. Deep shade to part sun. Origin: China, Burma and Vietnam

Aucuba japonica CrotonifoliaAucuba is Japanese for ‘evergreen shrub’ and ‘japonica’ refers to its Japanese origin. A low maintenance and versatile shrub with distinctive green and yellow speckled foliage. Grows in almost any conditions.
Will grow in most soils, in full sun or partial shade. Origin: Japan

aucuba japonica rozannie © 2014(dwarf compact female) Also known as the spotted laurel, Japanese laurel or gold dust plant. A favourite in Britain and the more humid regions of Germany. ‘Rozannie’ is an elegant, compact variety.It has to be grown in part shade or deep shade, it does not withstand afternoon sun or winter and early spring sunshine. Origin: Japan

A_japonica_variegata Commonly referred to as the Spotted laurel, Japanese laurel or Gold Dust plant, this variety is native to China and Japan. A bushy, rounded evergreen shrub with the dense glossy foliage being splattered with yellow colouring. Hardy and known for its ability to tolerate dry shade.
