hoheria populnea alba variegata ©A variegated foliage cultivar of this evergreen tree. Often called ‘lacebark’ the leaves have a creamy variegation and white flowers are borne in late sumer.

homalocadium © 2013(Centipede Plant or Tapeworm Plant) A bizarre plant! Also called the ribbon plant or tapeworm plant due to its unusual form of flat, leafless stems. Small green flowers appear at the stem joints and are followed by red fruits.

Hovenia dulcisReferred to as the oriental raisin tree. A hardy form which prefers a sunny position in moist sandy or loamy soils.  Has been used for medicinal purposes as a natural hangover cure. Said to be good for liver health and has been highly prized by oriental herbalists for centuries.

Hydrandra AnnabellThe most well known of the Hydrangea arborescens. This cultivar has much larger flowers than the species. A deciduous shrub with a rounded habit and dark green serrated leaves.  Sterile white flowers appear in large rounded heads.

Hydrangea aspera RocklinFavoured by aspera lovers for its slender leaves – a fantastic foliage selection. Leaves have a dark green top and a pale green underside. More of an upright grower with large pale pink to purple flowers. Protect from cold winds.

Hydrangea aspera Sawtooth

hydrangea stringosa villosa © bron andersonA showy rare "lace cap" with violet centre, paler outer petals. Flowers late Summer-early Autumn. Leaves rather hairy, soft and drooping. Will take a lot of sun. The old flowerheads including the bracts turn pink-purple to magenta colour.

hydrangea aspera villosa © 2013 Lovely lace cap flowers, lilac-blue centre, paler outer petals. Flowers late Summer after Stringosa. Leaves smoother and stiffer than Stringosa. Tolerant of higher pH.
