A "Mountain laurel" with red buds opening to bright pink flowers.

Deciduous shrub that grows in thickets 1-3 metres tall. The bright golden flowers occur en mass in early Spring. Native to mountain slopes in China , Korea and Japan , scrambling over other vegetation , the ground and rocks. The arching stems laden in flowers soften the landscape.

This plant is a double-flowered cultivar of a suckering shrub from China and Japan. ‘Pleniflora’ is a very vigorous grower and bears large, fluffy yellow flowers in spring.

The Chinese Flame Tree is a fast growing deciduous tree. Growing up to 10metres and spread of 10metres, this tree is perfect for making some shade in a hot place. Flowering in summer, with bright yellow flower that age into what looks like a chinese lanterns which are salmon pink in colour and turning brown when finished. Golden rain tree is a slow to moderata growing deciduous tree, that grows to 7-10metres high. In autumn leaves turn from a green to a gold colour, flowering in summer with long gold chains flowing down from it branchs. Growing up to 70cm per year. Full-Sun, acid or alkline soils.
